Poker Source Online
PSO (Poker Source Online) is a necessity for the online poker player. It greatly increases the expected value of your play, especially if you are a marginal winner or a break-even player. PSO offers many options to increase your expected value in which I will go into detail.
This offer is geared toward the new player. PSO will set you up with a bankroll ranging from $50-$200, and the only catch is that you have to play a required number of hands before you are allowed to cash this money out. If you lose all the money before reaching your required amount of hands it doesn’t matter, just move on to their next promotion.
This is my favorite promotion where you are allowed to select from a generous amount of gifts. This can be poker tables, chipsets, playing cards or PSO points which can be redeemed for gift cards or anything else in the PSO store.
The best gifts in my opinion are the Nevada Jack chipset promotion and the PSO points promotions. The Nevada Jack chipset is a high quality professional set that retails for around $100, but for an additional $100 out of your pocket you are allowed to upgrade to a custom denominated Desert Sands chipset which retails for around $400. These chipsets are very easy to sell on eBay to turn a quick profit or just keep them for yourself and own a high quality professional chipset at a fraction of the cost.
My other favorite gift promotion are the PSO points which range from 6,000 points to 12,000 points. 6,000 points equals $60 and 12,000 points respectively equals $120. The best items to purchase with the points are the gift cards where you have a multitude of stores to choose from including Best Buy and Amazon.com just to name a couple. I usually opt for the PSO points and get the Amazon.com gift card to purchase books. $120 buys a great deal of reading, but as you know Amazon.com has anything and everything.
I have not ever participated in the rakeback promotion. It is geared toward the more serious and committed players, and since I enjoy moving from poker site to poker site it isn’t an ideal promotion for me. It works like this… the poker rooms take a rake from each pot played, just like in the brick and mortar casinos that you may be used to, but the rakeback program gives you a percentage of this rake back. If you want to limit your play to one or two sites then this will definately give you the greatest expected value.
Besides all of these other promotions PSO also offers freeroll tournaments to members only. These freeroll tournaments can range from $1,000 to $15,000 sometimes even including all-expense paid cruises to poker live poker tournaments.
As you can see PSO offers a multitude of promotions for the beginner all the way through to the professional, and it would be borderline insane not to use them to increase your expected value, so give PSO a try at www.pokersourceonline.com.
